Ceremonies at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery were cancelled yesterday due to the early rains. For the most part it was a nice day however..overcast and mild temps.
This morning the rain is falling again...and I'm liking it! I have my coffee, my cigar...and sitting on the patio in boxers. This is the way to meet the day! The patio cover isn't tin, but it makes a nice enough sound as it gets pelted with the rain. The rain is hitting the bricks and rocks that surround the shelter hard, producing a misty splash that hits my bare feet.
Sounds like a perfect morning in the steamy south. I wish I had a patio private enough to sit out in my skivvies....
