Patio: noun.
An outdoor space for dining or recreation that adjoins a residence and is often paved. An adjoining area to a dwelling that is especially suited to entertaining guests.
Welcome to my blog/journal....patio. My patio can sometimes be a refuge for me, but is always a place I can go to relax and and ponder life, both problems and good times.
I can sit in solitude with a good cigar and a great libation and listen to the sounds of chirping birds and crickets and the occasional airplane, or raindrops hitting the patio cover. I have my music to play or TV to watch if I want. The grill is always working on the patio.
Evenings are special on the patio. Armed with a cigar and drink, listening to sweet blues jams on the radio, a faint train whistle can be heard moaning in the distance.
But the patio is not complete without either a friend or guest to share it with.
I can solve most of my problems out here, and all of the worlds problems.
