New Kid on the Blog

I have spent parts of the last two months thinking about mostly, putting together this thing called a "blog." Seems every other conversation I had with my friend Jim had him pushing me to get it going.

I really don't have an agenda with my blog. No mission statement really. Just use it to post random thoughts, opinions, likes and dislikes.

I will probably use it for a journal to share experiences as Serenity does.

If I ever get a wild hair up my butt I suppose I could attempt to blame it on Rob from osmosis, visiting his site can be addictive, as you all know. My only hope would be I do not get the same judge if I am ever standing trial. I am looking into developing a breathalizer that will attach to and restrict usage of the computer if certain,....shall we say, levels are off the scale.

And it's not that I live for Saturday mornings just to view some skin. Kim also on occasion will discuss the merits of gun ownership, oh, and the many uses one can find for them.

It's not so much I really wanted to know what "A Straight White Guy" would write about, but ya know, ya gotta go see just to find out. I'm glad I did. Always a good read there.

Long ago I wasted hard earned money on The Reader's Digest. For the "word builder." No longer. I was amazed at the rate my words was bein' built after just a few visits to Velociman. Talk about edgy! On the cusp of sanity. Eloquent. Discriptive.... a painter of words. A daily read for me.

Some of my favorite reads however, come from the women. Zedsdead makes me roar! Piehole. The cheese lady. This one makes me laugh, too. From these I found that I enjoy the "daily rant" style of blogging more than anything else. Humorous stories about real life, their version of it, anyway. Sometimes, I actually do not imagine them naked, sitting at the keyboard banging out the lastest event.

There are allot of things I don't know about blogging, setting up this site, tweaking it. But I want to learn. If anyone has a suggestion, one that is constructive, please tell me. Thanks to Jim for pushing me to do this. I hope it turns out to be a great experience!

... thanks for the kind words... welcome to the blogosphere...

There has to be some sort of intitiation here that doesn't involve vomit, or sodomy. Jim? Eric? Let's not let Rob plan this one, okay?

Welcome aboard, bro.

Write for you and fuck everyone else.

Well, not literally -- unless of course this is part of your nefarious plan. Aheh.
